Front DH H500145 & H600110 bearing replacement instructions.

Hadley H600110 (24mm wrench sizes for 20mm version shown)

1)       The ends are loosened first and then removed from the hub shell – using 24mm C wrenches.

2)      The lock rings are then removed with a pin spanner tool – 33mm.

3)      Both bearings are pressed out towards the non-disc side – a socket can be used to tap out.

4)      Next the new bearing gets pressed in from the non-disc side – making sure that it completely down and perpendicular to the hub shell.

5)      Drop the spacer in

6)      Install the second bearing into the hub shell from the non-disc side.

7)      Thread and tighten disc side lock ring on first – then do the same with the non-disc side.  The non-disc side is the pre-load for the hub.  This side must not be over-tightened.  As it is tightened down, you need to check how the spacer moves between the two bearings.  It must be able to move back and forth between the bearings, but be snug – not flopping around.

8)      Put the ends back into the hub – the internally threaded end goes in on the disc side of the hub – the eternally threaded end goes into the non-disc side of the hub and threads into the other end.  These ends need to be cinched down tight.
